The Center for leisure and social adaptation for young people with disabilities operates at Stryi Caritas. About 30 young people with mental disorders visit it.

In an atmosphere of love and friendship, young people have the opportunity to

- to grow and reveal their abilities and talents
- realize your needs in communication and friendship
- learn self-care and communication skills that help them become more independent from others in their daily lives
- through participation in various integration activities, to be included as full members in the life of the community.


Main types of activities
- Occupational therapy: making greeting cards, candles, rosary beads, beadwork, sewing eco-bags, embroidering pictures with beads, etc.;
- Training in social and household and communication skills: self-service, basic cooking skills, cooking simple dishes, self-advocacy, communication, etc.;
- Participation in art projects;
- Carrying out activities that contribute to the integration of youth with disabilities into society: trips, excursions, summer camp, visits to various institutions, participation in public events, etc.;
- Psychological support: individual and group sessions with a psychologist, consultations, psychological support for families;
- Meetings for parents: communication, consultations, exchange of experiences, psychological support.
