Easter basket
In order to present the joy of Christ’s Resurrection to people in need, we collect and form sets that include products from the traditional Easter basket. In 2023, thanks to the support of those who care, it was possible to prepare 100 Easter kits for single people living in the Stryi district.
I help Saint Nicholas
Together with the network of local coffee shops «Kava vid Stryika» we collect funds in order to help Saint Nicholas fill a bag with gifts for needy children. Buying a drink, local residents and guests of the city can add to their check a charitable contribution to support the charity event «I help Saint Nicholas». All proceeds from the campaign are used to purchase gifts for children.
School bag
Before the start of the school year, Caritas Ukraine is holding a campaign to provide school supplies to children from families in difficult life circumstances. This year, thanks to the support of many donors, we were able to provide 124 children from families in difficult life circumstances with new school bags filled with necessary school supplies.
Christmas candle
A traditional All-Ukrainian charity event aimed at raising funds for needy children through the distribution of Christmas candles. All candles are decorated by young people with disabilities who are wards of Caritas. Charity candles can be purchased at the parishes of the Stryi Diocese.
